HAVANA, Cuba, mar 30 (acn) Matanzas knocked Isla de la Juventud out by the score of 13-0 to stay alive in the semifinal round of Cuban baseball, now with two wins against three losses.
The lefty Yoanni Yera was the main architect in the triumph of the Matanzas Crocodiles with solid work in six innings, during which he allowed just three hits and struck out six batters, while Darien Núñez took the loss.
