Havana, Jul 16 (ACN) The Cuban men’s basketball team has made a successful preparation tour of China towards the classification meet for the America Cup next year.
The president of the Cuban Basketball Federation Dalia Henry told reporters in Havana that the Cubans took the top title ion the city of Hangzhou, and later in a similar meet in Suzhou they took the second position after falling to the US team in the finals.
Along the Cuban and the US team are the collectives of China, Italy and other nations.
The Cubans will again participate on July 18 at a competition in the region of Nantong, which will enhance their preparation.
