HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 14 (acn) The Cuban U-20 soccer team was beaten 0-3 by Honduras, on the second day of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying tournament, based in Jamaica.
According to the information published in the websites consulted, Cubans played better than their rivals in the first half but in the second one Honduras managed to score through Alberth Elis in the 59 th minute, Jean Paul Suazo (64') and Jhow Benavídez.
After this result, the Hondurans have four points thanks to a draw and a win, while Cuba has not earned a single unit after a couple of losses in a row, with 12 goals against and one in favor.
Cuba's next match will be on January 15th, against Haiti. This tournament on Jamaican soil brings together 12 teams divided into two groups and grants four tickets to the World Cup to be held this year in New Zealand.
