Cuba lost to Canada in women's water polo at Pan American Games

SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Oct 31 (ACN) Cuban women's team fell today 3-24 to Canada, in the second day of Group A of the water polo of the 19th Pan American Games of Santiago de Chile 2023, hosted at the Aquatic Center of the National Park.

Cubans could do little against the Canadians, to the point that they could only score three goals in the fourth and last, with times of 0-6, 0-7 and 0-2 and 3-9.

The Caribbean girls debuted with a tight 14-11 success against the Mexican team.

This afternoon Cuba will return to the pool in the B section, but with its men's team, which will face Canada, after losing 4-20 in the debut against Argentina.
