Cuban soccer team head coach won’t let up against Honduras

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 12 (ACN) Yuneilys Castillo, head coach of the senior national soccer team, said that Team Cuba has trained hard and is ready to put up a fight in today’s game against Honduras in the context of the CONCACAF Nations League.

Castillo is making his debut as HC in this competition in which the Cubans are undefeated after a 0-0 draw with Haiti and a 1-0 win over Suriname.

“Our philosophy for today's game will be the same: an orderly defense to keep the Hondurans away from the goal and launch speedy attacks when we have the ball,” he remarked in statements to the press. “Honduras boasts an excellent team with players from several foreign leagues and has a very capable coach, the Colombian Reinaldo Rueda, so we need to be quite focused.”
