HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 8 (ACN) The Cuban men's team will be opposite the Netherlands today in Pool 1 of the Volleyball Nations League, held in Ottawa, Canada.
Team Cuba will seek its first victory after losing 2-3 to the hosts on Tuesday. In the meantime, Italy and Argentina will deal, respectively, with USA and Brazil.
Pool 2, based in Nagoya, features the teams from Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, France, Bulgaria, China, Iran and Japan.
On the second week of the Nations League, the Cubans will be in Orleans, France, along with the Japanese, Slovenians, French and Bulgarians, whereas their rivals in the third week, to be played in Anaheim, U.SA., will be the Americans, Serbians, Germans and Iranians.
The top eight teams will be in the final, scheduled for July 19 to 23 in Gdansk, Poland.
