A large number of Olympic weightlifters to compete in Cuba

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 7 (ACN) Multiple Olympic medalists stand out among the 133 women and 139 men who will compete in the Weightlifting Grand Prix, an Olympic qualifier to be held in Cuba on June 8 to 18.

Lydia Valentín (Spain), Neisi Dajomes and Tamara Salazar (Ecuador), Luis Mosquera (Colombia), Aremi Fuentes (Mexico) and Julio Mayora (Venezuela) will be among the top-class figures competing in Havana.

The countries with the largest number of lifters are the United States (20), Cuba (19), Canada (19) and Colombia (17), according to the official entry lists.
