Cuban women's handball team lost again in World Cup qualifiers

 Havana, Jun 6 (ACN) The Cuban women's handball team took another loss in the 2023 North American and Caribbean championships held in Greenland, where five nations are participating, namely Canada, Cuba, Mexico, USA, and the hosts.

Team Cuba was beaten 25-19 precisely by the locals and thus lost any chance of qualifying for the 2023 IHF Handball World Championships, to be held from November 29 to December 17 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The Cubans made their debut on Monday with a 26-32 loss to Mexico.
