Cuban judokas lose in their debut in Qatar World Championship

HAVANA, Cuba, May 9 (ACN) Judokas Arnaes Odelin and Magdiel Estrada lost today in Cuba's debut in the third day of the individual tournament of the World Judo Championships in Doha, Qatar.

According to the site of the International Federation www.ijf.org, Odelin, in the 57 kilograms (kg), fell by Wazari to the French and favorite Leonie Cysique, as well as Estrada (73 kg), but against the Tajik Behruzi Khojozoda.

Cysique is an Olympic gold and silver medalist in the Tokyo 2020 mixed team and individual team, in that order, and Khojosoda, fifth place -discussed bronze- in the 2022 Asian championships and seventh place in the 2019 Hungarian Grand Slam.
