Cuban beach volleyball players will compete in Mexico

 Havana, Mar 15 (ACN) The Cuban pair Noslen Diaz and Jorge Luis Alayo will open 2023 in Mexico, host from March 16 to 19 of the La Paz Beach Volleyball World Challenge World Protour, and then will compete in two other stops in Brazil.

Diaz and Alayo, who are currently training in the National Volleyball School, will travel to La Paz on Saturday to participate in this tournament, which will be attended by 48 pairs from Austria, Argentina, Germany, Canada, Chile, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, United States and Portugal.

In 2022, Diaz and Alayo finished 17th in their debut in the world championships held in Rome. They also won the gold, silver and bronze medals in the NORCECA circuit and the First Central American and Caribbean Beach Games held in Santa Marta, Colombia.
