HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 1 (acn) With a harvest of 123 gold, 66 silver and 65 bronze medals, Cuba concluded on top of the standings of the 22nd Central American and Caribbean Games Veracruz 2014.
Yesterday, the Cuban delegation ended its participation in this competition with three titles, two in beach volleyball and one in the marathon event, plus two silver and one bronze medals, for a total of 254.
Mexico ( 115-106-111) finished second followed by Colombia (70-75-78) and Venezuela (56-79-110), in that order.
The Dominican Republic (19-34-23) closed the top five in the regional games.
