Havana, Jan 22 (ACN) Cuban Greco-Roman wrestlers Luis Orta (67 kg) and Oscar Pino (130 kg) finished first on the final day of the Henri Deglane Grand Prix de France, held in Nice.
Orta, Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, won a 7-2 victory against the local wrestler Tigran Galustyan in the gold medal match, whereas Pino, who has been second and third in world championships, earned the gold after beating the German Franz Richter 5-0.
This was the first competition in 2023 for these two Cuban athletes, who will also have this year two multisport tournaments in the American continent.
