HAVANA, Cuba, Dec. 5 (ACN) Playing as guest, Team Cuba will make its debut today against the U.S. Virgin Islands in the 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup held in the Bahamas, in which another three nations participate, namely the defending champion Curacao, the newcomer Puerto Rico, and the host country.
Cuba finished second in the last championship after losing 3-4 to Curacao and is now repeating with four players from that team.
Two teams will qualify for the Central American and Caribbean Games of San Salvador 2023, for which Cuba has already secured a place.
