Cuban cyclists finished gold and silver at the Caribbean Track Cycling Championships

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 14 (ACN) With a gold medal and two silver medals Cuba finished its successful performance at the Caribbean Track Cycling Championships, held since Friday in Trinidad and Tobago.

Alejandro Parra and Leandro Marcos were champions in the madison and Daymelin Perez and Tony Garcia won silver medals in the omnium and keirin, respectively, according to the results tables on the website of the Pan American Cycling Confederation.

Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago dominated from start to finish in the competition, which included riders from Jamaica, Barbados and St. Lucia.

The Cubans totaled four gold medals, five silver and four bronzes and obtained 25 quotas for the Central American and Caribbean Games of San Salvador 2023.
