HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 6 (ACN) The Cuban men's handball team suffered its first setback in the Caribbean Cup of that discipline, held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where they lost 27-28 to the local team.
In the Parque del Este arena, both teams went out to defend their undefeated condition in a competition extending until the next 8th, which will be a qualifier for the Central American and Caribbean Games of San Salvador 2023.

With this result, the Dominicans have a record of two wins and no losses, while Cuba has a 1-1 record.
