Cuban sailors to do better today in World Championships semifinal

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 26 (ACN) Cubans sailing duets Pedro Hernandez and Zoe Barrios and Vicente de la Guardia and his son Alejandro, who finished tenth and twenty-third respectively on the first day of the semifinals of the Hobie 16 World Championships in Catalonia, Spain, will try to improve their places today.

Pedro and Zoe—Cuba’s national champions—advanced to the semifinal in 19th place with 37 points, whereas Vicente and Alejandro finished 41st, hence the importance of doing better today.
