Cuba bent on snapping losing streak at Haarlem today

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 11 (ACN) Intent on breaking Cuban team Granma Alazanes’ two-game losing streak, Jose Ramon Rodriguez will be the starting pitcher against Team USA today, the fourth day of the Haarlem baseball tournament.

After losing its first two games against the host (1-5) and Japan (3-4), Cuba will be opposite USA today and, in the next few days, will play against Curacao and Italy to close the qualifiers of this tournament, which awards points for the world ranking to the teams that finish in the first three places.
