Havana, March 8 (ACN) Cubans Daniela Fonseca and Karla Perez won the gold medal during a female double event as part of the Caribbean Table Tennis Championship underway in the Cuban capital.
The two Cubans defeated Puerto Ricans Dianely Rios and Fabiola Diaz and now Cuba only needs two victories to win the regional event.
Meanwhile, Cuban Olympic athlete Jorge Moises and Livan Martinez will fight for the gold against Puerto Ricans Oscar Birriel and Richard Pietri.
The gold for individual matches is already secured by Cuba as the finals will take place between Fonseca and Idalys.
