Cuban water polo player to compete for the crown in Serbian First A League

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 12 (ACN) Cuban Cecilia Diaz Mesa will compete starting tomorrow, Saturday, in the First League A of the Serbian Water Polo Championship, with the Red Star of Belgrade, after being the star of the club's qualification, undefeated in four games.

This team, runner-up of Serbia in the previous season, will face tomorrow Taš2000, a club that defeated two months ago in the Danubio Champions League, where the Cuban player also highlighted.

Diaz Mesa totaled 13 goals in the four matches of the Red Star in the preliminary phase of the Serbian Championship, in which the team was unbeaten from last Saturday until Monday against Spartak (30-4), Palilula (24-1), Partizan (14-6) and Wallis (32-3) in Group B.
For the Serbian title, the Belgrade crew will also compete against Partizan and Vojvodina.
