Cuba to host Congress of the Cuban Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

HAVANA, Oct 2 (ACN) The advances and use of robotics, artificial intelligence and augmented reality in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be presented from today through Friday at the 9th Congress of the Cuban Society of this specialty at the Havana Convention Center.

As announced by the organizing committee, Cuba will present the results in physical medicine and rehabilitation in the different levels of medical care and will foster regional collaboration in this field, as well as address issues of pediatric and community-based rehabilitation, ozone therapy, quality of life, pain and rehabilitation.
Cuban and foreign experts will refresh their knowledge on the disability prevention in the elderly, medical hydrology and nursing.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation develops a group of actions to incorporate patients with disabling, congenital or acquired diseases into their environment.
The first International Symposium on Rehabilitation Nursing will be held as part of the Congress, according to the organizing committee.
