14th Health Fair Highlighted for its High Number of ParicipantsHAVANA, Cuba, Mar 26 (ACN) The 14th edition of the 2018 Health for All Fair was highlighted for the number of participants and the second with the most exhibition area so far to date, said the Cuban Deputy Health Minister Marcia Cobas.

The event, held at the Pabexpo Exhibition Halls since last Monday had the participation of 32 countries, 19 companies -139 of them from abroad-, over 900 exhibitors and three thousand 610 square meters, said Cobas.

Cuban Health Minister and Vice President of the Council of State Roberto Morales Ojeda presided the activity where Cobas affirmed that on this occasion they proposed not only creating a space to encourage commercial relations but also promote a permanent scientific-technical exchange between exhibitors and visitors.

During the four days of work, 87 conferences and a forum on foreign investment were held and another related with the regulatory activity.

In addition, said Cobas, there were 173 business encounters with BioCubaFarma, the Importing and Exporting Company of Medical Products of the Ministry of Public Health (MediCuba), Electro medicine, and Cuban Medical Cooperation and Medical Services Center.

Regarding the Cuban Medical Cooperation and Medical Services Center stand, the Vice Minister said that 77 working meetings were carried out, contracts and memorandum of understandings were signed and there were visits of high-ranking delegations and business executives.

She added that they are happy to having supporting the exhibition of advanced technologies and scientific exchanges

During the closing of the event, awards were handed out on quality, product design, stand and communication to different foreign and Cuban companies.
