Thirty companies attend Foreign Investment in Health Forum

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 23 (ACN) As part of the III International Health Convention running from this Monday until Friday in the capital city, will take place for the first time the Forum on Foreign Investment in Health, on April 24 and 25 at the Pabexpo venue, with the participation of about 30 foreign companies.

Exclusively with the Cuban News Agency, Niurka Marzán, specialist of the investment promotion group of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba announced that the forum is included in the XIV International Fair Health for All, which is attended by 183 exhibitors from 32 countries.
As announced by the organizing committee, some 3,610 square meters of exhibition space have been contracted, and among the nations, Spain, Germany, Japan, Panama, Italy and Cuba stand out.
Marzán explained that the forum is aimed primarily at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, investment and venture capital funds, institutions specializing in research, development, medical device companies, diagnostic and health services, among others.
It is a good opportunity for all investors interested in these projects to attend the exchange, she said.
The specialist specified that they are identified in portfolios of opportunities for the two business groups that the sector has: the Comercializadora Servicios Médicos Cubanos and the business group BioCubaFarma.
She announced that there is a jury of awards that has four categories in mind: Quality of products; Design of products to which any of the exhibitors who are at the fair can aspire, Communication and Stand Design.
