Cuba: Tenth Imported Zika Case DiagnosedHAVANA, Cuba, Apr 22 (acn) The tenth imported case of a patient with Zika virus has been diagnosed, reads a note by the Cuban Public Health Ministry, the Granma newspaper reported on Friday.

It's a Cuban citizen, 46, from the municipality of San Miguel del Padron, Havana province, who arrived in the country on April 12, from Guyana, where she stayed for six days for personal reasons.
On April 18, she a 37.5 ° C temperature and rash on the face, trunk and extremities, She went to the Hermanos Ruiz Aboy Polyclinic, from where due to symptoms and epidemiological history she was sent to the Miguel Enriquez Hospital and from there to the Pedro Kouri Tropical Medicine Institute (IPK), where she was admitted.
On April 20, the IPK laboratory confirmed, from special blood tests, that the patient is positive for Zika virus.
The patient maintains rash and pain in the joints, and has no fever, with favorable evolution. She remains hospitalized.
