Cuban Medical Services of Audiology Inaugurated in Angola

HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 18 (acn) Cuban specialists of the Neuronic company opened in Angola audiology services and presented a gamut of products of the company that today develops, produces and commercializes high-tech medical equipment and software, Prensa Latina reported.

This new opportunity of cooperation with Cuba responds to a health need to solve hearing problems in the country, said Carlos Alberto Masseca, Angolan Secretary of State for Health, at the public Josina Machel (Maria Pia) Hospital.
He insisted that infants with hearing problems will have absolute priority so that they can be rehabilitated and contribute in the future to the development of the nation.
Masseca said combatants and veterans of the homeland will receive the center's services, persons who in a moment of national history did not hesitate to fight for independence, the proclamation of which marked its 40th anniversary on November 11.
On the other hand, Cuban microbiologist Yainelis Garrido said Neuronic is an effective platform for the industrialization and commercialization of advanced medical scientific-technological results.
