International Nanotech Seminar underway in Havana

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 14 (acn) Nanotechnology experts are gathering today and until Friday at Havana´s Conventions Center at the Fifth International Seminar on that scientific field.

Doctor Ariel Felipe, secretary of the scientific committee, said that the topics on the agenda include Bio-nanotechnology and Nano-medicine, Nano-materials and the public perception of nanotechnology and scientific policies, among others.
Some 200 Cuban and foreign experts are attending the meeting, representing countries such as Russia, the U.S., Canada, Austria, Chile, Mexico, Germany, Italy, South Korea, France and other nations.
