Havana.- Havana, July 24 (acn).-Nearly 900 Cuban health care facilities will benefit from a 50-million-peso (close to similar figure in US dollars) investment that includes capital repairs, maintenance and replacement of furniture, said deputy Health minister Luis Navarro.
Navarro told reporters that his ministry has undertaken a huge process to solve constructive problems in its entities, which are the target of most complaints by the people.
The repairs and maintenance program, which started just two years ago, aims at implementing investment in all health care facilities without closing their services.
The construction materials used for this program are of good quality, with some like cement and sand produced locally and others imported, said the deputy minister.
