HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 4 (ACN) The project La Botica de la Abuela (Grandma’s pharmacy), launched six years ago with the mission of creating and marketing natural medicinal products in Cuba, has made the most of technology to achieve relevant academic and scientific results, according to its director Rodolfo Arencibia.
“The Cubans have long used bio-healthy products and green medicine (…) which we intend to develop in the future with new scientific, technological and innovation programs through cooperation with renowned domestic and foreign institutions,” he remarked.
“La Botica… has established alliances with and earned the acknowledgment of universities, scientific centers and international organizations, and it has managed to overcome the setbacks Cuba has faced since the pandemic, but its commitment has turned it into a successful and recognized experience that goes beyond green medicine to provide wellbeing and life,” he concluded.
