CAMAGUEY, Cuba, Feb 4 (acn) After three days of lectures and discussions on the role of tourism as a development factor in heritage sites, the 9th International Symposium Challenges in the Management of Cities, which was held since Monday in this city, concludes today.
The economic value and heritage conservation for tourism, historic cityscape, cultural identity and authenticity of its message were among the issues discussed in the working days of the event.
With over 140 participants, the event was part of the programming of Camagüey Cultural Week, which today also includes the beginning of the fifteenth edition of the event Histo Camagüey.
