HAVANA, Cuba, May 29 (ACN) Executives of the Cuban Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB by its Spanish acronym) and the National Institute of Infectious Diseases of Japan held a meeting in the Asian nation, where they agreed to advance in research collaboration.
As reported on Twitter by the Cuban embassy to Tokyo, the exchange took place as part of a visit to Japan by CIGB's director of biomedical research, Gerardo Guillen.
On the same social media, the CIGB noted that Guillen also met with representatives of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) and Ehime University.
