LAS TUNAS, Cuba, May 10 (ACN) The 4th Convention and 3rd Expofair of the University of Las Tunas, to be held on May 16 to 19 in this eastern Cuban province, is intended to promote exchanges among professionals from several countries who will share their scientific and technical experiences with a view to development and social welfare based on the training of professionals and the impact of Cuban universities on the country’s current social processes.
The program of the conference features eight science-related workshops on topics such as integral techniques, community and rural development, educational innovation in the 21st century, academia and society, and culture, sports, economy and agriculture, as well as international meetings of Latin American jurists, educators, high-performance athletes and coaches, and businesses related to sustainable development and renewable energy.
In parallel, and in keeping with the continuation of university-society links, an expofair will display products created by local institutions, enterprises and self-employed workers.
