Cuba continues with no deaths due to COVID 19, 11 new cases today

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 5 (ACN) The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Cuba at the end of Monday was 11, maintaining the trend of months ago of no deaths due to this disease, while the number of medical discharges was 11.

According to the daily report of the Ministry of Public Health, a total of 58 patients have been admitted, 33 suspected and 25 confirmed active.

Of the total number of cases, eight were contacts of confirmed cases, one with a source of infection abroad and two with no source of infection specified. There were 11 discharges during the day, accumulating 1,102,604, and there were no deaths. There are no reports of serious or critical patients in ICUs.

No asymptomatic cases were registered during the day, totaling 147,505 cases, representing 13.3% of those confirmed to date, and confirmed cases by age group: under 20 years of age (9), 20 to 39 (2), 40 to 59 (0) and over 60 (0).
