No deaths or cases in ICUs due to COVID-19 in Cuba, only 26 new cases

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 27 (ACN) Cuba studied a total of 1,950 samples for surveillance, 26 of which were positive. The country accumulates 13,958,395 samples taken and 1,105,978 positive.

At the end of June 26, a total of 275 patients had been admitted, 143 suspected and 132 confirmed active.

Of the total number of cases, 24 were contacts of confirmed cases; 1 with source of infection abroad and 1 with no source of infection specified. There were 15 medical discharges, accumulating 1,097,230 (99.2%) and there were no deaths; no cases were reported in ICUs.

One asymptomatic case was diagnosed (3.8%), totaling 147,051 cases, representing 13.3% of those confirmed to date.

The 26 diagnosed cases belong to the following age groups: under 20 years of age (11), 20 to 39 (9), 40 to 59 (1), and over ( 5).
