Cuba Administers over 37.8 million COVID-19 Doses

Havana, Jun 16 (ACN) Cuba has administered a total of 37 million 896 thousand 406 doses of its homegrown COVID-19 vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala, up to June 14.
According to the Cuban Health Ministry 10 million 675 thousand 478 citizens haver received at least one dose of the vaccines; nine million 413 thousand 501 people have got two shots and nine million 114 thousand 580 have been administered three doses of the Cuban vaccines.
The boosters have been administered to seven million 345 thousand 149 citizens, according to the report which explains that since the epidemic appeared on the island in March 2020, one million 105 thousand 681 persons were diagnosed with the virus, out of them one million 097 thousand and five recovered from the disease, standing for 99.2 percent of all the cases. The pandemic claimed 8 thousand 529 lives in Cuba.
