Cuba highlights feat of its scientists and health personnel in control of COVID 19

HAVANA, Cuba, May 31(ACN) The prowess of our scientists and health personnel paved the way towards the control of COVID-19, said today on Twitter, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister.

In his official account on that social network, the Cuban diplomat acknowledged that their work has allowed Cuba to make its protocol for dealing with the pandemic more flexible today.

As part of the measures for the new stage related to the control of COVID-19, Cuba established the elimination of the mandatory use of mask for all social activities, except in medical consultations and hospitalization services that require it, and in areas with restrictions during outbreak controls.

The Ministry of Public Health recommends its use also in crowded places where an adequate physical distance is not possible, and adds that the decision of not allowing people with respiratory symptoms to enter work and student centers is maintained.

It also recommends systematic and updated training for workers on the hygienic rules of individual and collective protection.
