Cuba reported 61 new cases of COVID 19, 91 discharges and no deaths

Havana, Cuba, Cuba, May 20 (ACN) Cuba studied a total of 5,163 samples for surveillance on the day, with 61 positive. The country has accumulated 13,814,412 samples and 1,104,891 positive.

At the close of May 19, a total of 1,659 patients were admitted, 1,307 suspected, 35 under surveillance and 317 confirmed active.

Of the total cases, 61 were contacts of confirmed cases; 0 with a foreign source of infection; 0 with no specified source of infection. There were 91 medical discharges, accumulating 1,095,986 (99.2%) and there were no deaths. Seven confirmed patients are being treated in the ICUs, of which 3 are critical and 4 are seriously.

Four asymptomatic cases (6.5%) were reported, totaling 146,923, which represents 13.3% of those confirmed to date, and the diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years of age, ( 28), from 20 to 39 (12), 40 to 59 (8) and over 60 (13).
