Number of people with at least one dose of Cuban COVID-19 vaccines on the rise

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 19 (ACN) More than 10 million people have received at least one dose of one of the Cuban COVID-19 vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported today.

By January 17, 10,531,221 people had received at least one dose of a Cuban immunogen and, of them, 9,329,178 have been administered the second dose and 8,990,420 already got the third one, for a grand total of 33,013,350 doses given nationwide to 9,777,326 people (87.4% of the population).

MINSAP also reported that 22,353,174 doses have been administered during the mass vaccination program, 320,862 of them during the Clinical Study.

As part of the Health Intervention, 9,618,784 million doses have been given, whereas the intervention study provided another 454,064.
