HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 29 (ACN) Cuba studied a total of 16,905 samples for detect COVID 19 during the day, with 130 positive. The country accumulates 11,083,208,208 samples taken and 962,350 positive.
At the end of November 28, 3,417 patients were admitted, 2,393 suspected, 161 under surveillance and 863 confirmed active.
Of the total number of cases, 127 were contacts of confirmed cases; 2 with source of infection abroad and 1 with no source of infection specified. There were 192 medical discharges, accumulating 953,130 patients recovered (99.0%) and there were no deaths. Twenty-five confirmed patients are being treated in ICUs, including 13 in critical and 12 in severe condition.
Among the 130 positive cases, 15.4% (20) were asymptomatic, totaling 132,534, representing 13.8% of those confirmed to date. The diagnosed cases belong to the following age groups: under 20 years of age (19), 20 to 39 (23), 40 to 59 (48), and 60 (40).
