Over One Thousand New Health Professionals to Graduate in Eastern Cuba

Manzanillo, May 31 (ACN) Some 1 thousand 100 new health professionals will graduate next July at the Medical University of eastern Granma province as a result of a restructuring of the school year in that territory due to the impact by the COVID-19.

The number of future graduates from eight different courses includes 800 medical doctors, who have improved skills during permanent work in local hospitals and other healthcare facilities, said university rector Doctor Anibal Ramos.

The medical students participated in the search for COVID-19 cases, supported the work of isolation centers while keeping their training and exchanging with their professors in different subjects.
