HAVANA, Nov. 6 (ACN) From Russia's faraway Western Siberia, more than 1.700 kilometers from Moscow, the voices of the members of the Committee of Solidarity with Cuba have echoed today, supporting Cuban people in the fight against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade, according to a statement from Cuban embassy to Russia.
As of April 2018, the tightening of the blockade has continued to be the central focus of the American government's policy toward Cuba, with a growing impact on its extraterritorial application.
According to the report, from April 2018 to March 2019, Cuba's economy has been affected by 4.343 billion dollars.
Shortly before the UN vote on the report on resolution 73/8 presented by Cuba to end the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade, supporters of the Caribbean island gathered in the Siberian city of Tyumen to present a banner that reads: "No more blockade".
