HAVANA, Nov. 6 (ACN) La France insoumise (LFI), one of the leading organizations on the French political scene, called on today the international community to express at the UN General Assembly another resounding rejection of the U.S. blockade against Cuba.
Christian Rodriguez, a member of the organization's international team, is sure of the Cuba's new victory at the UN, despite pressure from the U.S. on some countries to force them to change their traditional vote in favor of the Cuban cause, Prensa Latina reported.
For the 28th time, Cuba is presenting today and tomorrow the draft resolution 73/8 against the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Caribbean island, harassed by laws and regulations that support the blockade policy, strictly applied by the White House administration.
On behalf of the leftist movement, Rodriguez praised the dignity and resistance capacity of Cubans in the face of constant American hostility, worsened by Donald Trump's government.
