HAVANA, Oct 23 (ACN) The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlic-Radman, reiterated today the will to continue strengthening the relations of exchange and cooperation with Cuba.
In a meeting with the Cuban Ambassador to that nation, Juan Antonio Fernandez Palacios, both authorities reiterated the mutual will to continue strengthening the historical bilateral ties between the two countries, whose diplomatic relations have already reached 28 years.
Both officials valued positively the links established in the political-diplomatic sectors, sports, tourism and the existing economic-commercial and cultural potentialities, among others.
Fernandez Palacios thanked Croatia for its support in rejecting the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, as well as for its constructive position regarding Cuba's bonds with the European Union.
Grlic-Radman acknowledged and valued the work carried out by the Cuban ambassador at the conclusion of his four-year diplomatic mission to Croatia.
