Raul Castro received Russian PM

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 4 (acn) Army General Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, received Russian PM Dmitri Anatolievich Medvedev, who is on an official visit to the Caribbean island.

During the fraternal meeting, they talked about the excellent relations between both peoples, parties and governments and they also expressed the will to continue strengthening the bilateral ties.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Yuri Borisov, Russia´s Deputy PM, and Andrei Guskov, Russian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Cuba.
On the Cuban side there were Jose R. Machado Ventura, second secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee, and Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
