HAVANA, Oct 3 (ACN) Cuba will attend the International Tourism Fair of Latin America to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from next October 5-8, Cuba´s Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) announced today.
The Cuban delegation will be represented by the General Director of Marketing of MINTUR, Barbara Cruz Rodriguez; the new Counselor of that ministry for the Southern Hemisphere, Janet Ayala Diaz; and representatives of the hotel groups Gran Caribe, Cubanacan and Islazul, the travel agency Cubatur, as well as the associates Melia Hotels, NH, ROC Hotels, Muthu and Blue Diamonds.
According to MINTUR information, one of the main goals of the Cuban delegation at the event will be to foster hiring for this winter and present the news for next summer.
Cuba will also call for the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITCUBA 2020 to be held in Varadero, from May 4-9, dedicated to the Sun and Beach product, as well as the 1st edition of the International Tourism and Health Fair, from October 28-30, 2020.
FITCUBA 2020 and the Tourism and Health Fair will have Russia as guest country.
