Cuban General Comptroller exchanges with Russian counterpart

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 24 (ACN) Gladys Bejerano Portela, Comptroller General of Cuba, exchanged this Tuesday with her Russian counterpart, Alexei Kudrin, about cooperation for the control of joint development plans.

"We propose by 2020 to carry out parallel audits to the four energy blocks to be built in Havana with Russian collaboration, as well as the upgrading of the Antillana de Acero metallurgical complex," Bejerano Portela told Prensa Latina.
The official, who traveled to Russia to participate in the 23rd International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions, said that "all this promotes the professional development of auditors.
There is now a trend towards improvement and exchange, which is to the benefit of all countries, and Cuba participates in these processes, said the Comptroller, who on Tuesday met with her country's diplomatic mission in Russia.
The deputy president of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, who participated in the 17th session of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission and in the first Exposition of Cuba in Russia, also attended the International Congress of Audit Institutions.
