Havana, Sep 6 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Kazuyuki Yamazaki, Japanese Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, who is chairing the Japanese delegation to the 15th Inter-Ministerial Political Consultations.
During the friendly meeting, both countries confirmed the good state of their bilateral relations and the opportunity offered by the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations to continue expanding the friendship and cooperation ties existing between the two nations, cubaminrex website reported.
Yamazaki was accompanied by Kazuhiro Fujimura, Japan's ambassador to Cuba, and other members of his delegation.
The Cuban delegation included Emilio Lozada Garcia, Director General of Bilateral Affairs; Alberto Blanco, Director of Asia and Oceania, and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX).
Previously, Yamazaki had been welcomed by MINREX Deputy Minister Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo. They reviewed bilateral ties, mutual cooperation, joint work in international organizations and other issues on the regional and international agenda.
