HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 17 (ACN) Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, began an official visit to Barbados on Monday as part of his tour of Caribbean countries.
The agenda of the Cuban Chancellor will have as a starting point the placement of a floral offering in the Monument to the Martyrs of Barbados, where collaborators and Cubans residing in this Caribbean nation will participate.
During his stay, the Cuban diplomat will have meetings with the Governor General, the Honorable Dama Sandra Prunella Mason, with the Prime Minister, the Honorable Mia Amor Mottley, and with the Chancellor, Jerome Walcott among other authorities and government figures.
Since the establishment of their diplomatic relations, Barbados and Cuba have maintained positive bilateral ties, based on the principles of solidarity, friendship and cooperation.
