HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 13 (ACN) Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago received Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, and they exchanged views on the potentialities of relations and the main challenges facing the Caribbean region.
In his official Twitter account, Rodríguez Parrilla stated that during the meeting they ratified the common will to continue strengthening the relations of brotherhood and the economic-commercial and cooperation links between both nations.
His stay in Trinidad and Tobago also allowed him to welcome the re-establishment of direct flights between the two countries of Caribbean Airlines, which pays tribute to the interest in promoting greater interconnectivity in the Caribbean.
This visit to the sister nation of Trinidad is part of the Cuban Foreign Minister's tour of the Caribbean region, which will run until June 18.
