HAVANA, Cuba, May 29 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in Beijing Song Tao, Head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, as part of his activities in China during his official visit.

We emphasize the importance of inter-party relations and the exchange of experiences on the construction of socialism in both countries," said the Cuban diplomat on Twitter.
According to a report by Prensa Latina Song Tao emphasized that the significance of the trip is greater because it takes place at a juncture where the Cuban Revolution triumphed 60 years ago and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China is about to be commemorated.
Song recalled that last November Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel reached important consensuses with Chinese President Xi Jinping that point the way for the development of bilateral relations.
Rodríguez, for his part, commented on the closing of an extensive exchange of experiences on the construction of socialism and conveyed a warm greeting from the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro.
He also agreed that this visit to China is special because it takes place in the context of the anniversaries of the Cuban Revolution and the foundation of this country as a republic.
