Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs on visit to MexicoHAVANA, Cuba, May 15 (acn) Marcelo Luis Ebrard, Mexico´s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, received his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, who is making a working visit to this country.

During the meeting, both chancellors ratified the will to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the positive state of bilateral relations and committed themselves to consolidate them, especially in economic-commercial and migratory matters, according to information from the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
They also exchanged on topics of mutual interest in the regional and international scenes, and agreed to preserve the principles endorsed in the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Peace Zone.
Ebrard was accompanied by Miguel Ignacio Diaz Reynoso, general director of the Latin America and the Caribbean Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and appointed ambassador to Cuba.
On the Cuban side there were also present Pedro Nuñez, Cuban Ambassador in Mexico, and Eugenio Martinez Enriquez, general director of the Latin America and the Caribbean Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
