HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 18 (acn) Cubans Yurisbel Gracial and Ariel Martinez renewed their respective contracts with Japanese professional baseball clubs for the upcoming season.

Gracial will return to the current monarch the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, whers he has been used both in the outfield and infield, while catcher Martinez will also repeat with the Chunichi Dragons, both in the top flight of the Japanese Professional League (NPB).
I think they are looking for me again because I had an excellent result last season, both offensively and defensively, especially at the end of the season, including the postseason, Gracial told ACN.
Meanwhile, Martinez said he feels very happy about the renewal of this contract with his club, in which he played last season in the second team.
Last year I had to look for adaptation to a baseball as complicated as the Japanese; but I feel in excellent conditions to meet my dream, which is to be in the first squad, the promising catcher, who is only 22, noted.
